New Patient Appointment
After a thorough initial consultation and foot health check, nails are cut, filed and buffed.
Includes treatment of common nail problems such as thickened, discoloured, fungal and/or ingrown nails.
Hard skin is gently reduced and corns removed.
Foot cream applied and foot care advice given to suit your individual needs.
Routine Appointment
For existing patients only.
After checking the feet for any changes or development of new problems, nails are cut, filed and buffed.
Includes treatment of thickened, discoloured, fungal and/or ingrown nails.
Hard skin is gently reduced and corns removed.
Foot cream applied with a short foot rub/massage.
Diabetic Foot Check
The podiatrist will ask you questions about your feet, health and diabetes management.
Your feet will be examined and numbness or changes in sensation (known as neuropathy) will be tested, as well as blood flow to your feet.
You will be given tailored advice on how to care for your feet and minimise the risk of developing complications due to diabetes.
This service is included free of charge for people with diabetes as part of your New Patient Appointment.
Verrutop - Verruca Treatment
Verrutop is a topical medication used to treat warts and verrcas.
It is a liquid containing a Nitrizinc complex that is applied to the target area of skin, and works by drying the lesion and denaturing the viral proteins, resulting in cell death.
It is painless and suitable for most adults and children over 6 years.
Please note more than one session is usually required to fully clear the verruca.

Cosmetic procedure using specialist gel to create a new toenail where the original nail is damaged or unsightly.
